The Cubby Bed

In true Sausage Pit style, we pair our signature fabrics & bespoke made to order options to a brand new style- The Cubby Bed.

Giving you our firmest, most luxurious bed yet with tall sides for an enclosed feel, and a smaller lip at the front allowing the shortest of legs to climb on in, its a true favourite for every breed of dog!

Our design is fully washable with removable covers all round, with 8 industrially firm filled hollow fibre bags to give the bed its distinct oval shape & firm sides that will last you for years.

• Small is pictured in Mocha Boucle- Outer Circumference is 176cm, wall height is 27cm with the smaller lip 15cm. Inside Measurements Approx 55cmx 40cm. Designed for Teacup breeds/ Puppies up to around 4KG

• Medium is pictured in Mink Velour- Outer Circumference is 204cm, wall height is 29cm with the smaller lip 17cm. Inside Measurements Approx 65cmx 50cm, Designed for Small dogs, Miniature Dachshunds

• Large is pictured in Merlot Boucle- Outer Circumference is 245cm, wall height is 31cm with the smaller lip 19cm. Inside Measurements Approx 75cmx 60cm. Designed for Medium breeds of dogs up to approx 14KG in size. Such as Standard Dachshunds, Spaniels

• Extra Large is not pictured- Outer Circumference is 290cm, wall height is 33cm with the smaller lip 21cm. Inside Measurements Approx 85cmx 70cm. Designed for the larger of breeds roughly Labrador sized or multiple small dogs.

Boucles & Velours- 100% Polyester

Faux Fur- 84% Acrylic, 16% Polyester

Sherpa Fleece- 65% Acrylic, 35% Polyester.

We only manufacture bedding that have removable covers. To wash, remove & unzip the inner fur pad then flip the entire bed inside out you will notice a zip on the inside to remove the 8 firm filled bags. Put both of your covers in the machine with zips OPEN.

With our All of our beds its really Important to not apply any heat to the fur to ensure your beds keep n new condition for as long as possible. Wash the covers on a low 30 Degs on a gentle cycle. Never use fabric softener as this changes the chemical composition of the faux fur and sherpa fleece. Once washed, do not twist to get any excess water out, simply leave to dry naturally away from any heat source. Never Iron or Tumble dry! During and after drying you will find that the hairs give the impression of being stuck together, however when its dry simply give the fur a gentle brush to make it nice and fluffy again! The outer bed can be washed by unzipping and pulling out the pillows- however this is recommended to be washed less often and only when its very dirty.

Finally, there is no such product that is indestructible, if your dog begins to chew please remove from sight until their excitement has worn away. The Sausage Pit will hold no responsibility for any bed that has been destroyed.
